A membership organization of local agencies which supports businesses and workforce development.
Mission
To cultivate a mutually beneficial relationship among local employers and members of the work force who have disabilities through education, matching of needs and skills, and recognition of achievements.
Objectives
- Provide employers with support services and incentives which support the vocational aspirations of individuals with employment barriers.
- Foster collaboration among human service organizations which offer vocational services to individuals.
- Create an educational forum and network for employers who have experience with hiring individuals with disabilities.
- Assist individuals who have disabilities with achieving access to employers who have need for their skills and abilities.
- Promote and conduct employer and employee recognition opportunities.
